NYU Langone Health: Thoracic Surgeon (Long Island)
NYU Langone Health's Division of Thoracic Surgery is seeking a Thoracic Surgeon to join our #1 U.S. News & World Report-ranked team. This position will be based at NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island and Suffolk campuses. The successful candidate will provide expert care for malignant and benign thoracic diseases, utilizing minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical techniques. You will join a high-volume, experienced team dedicated to delivering world-class clinical outcomes and patient experience.
Position Requirements & Responsibilities
- Help develop and expand the Thoracic Surgery Division at NYU Langone Hospital on Long Island.
- Demonstrate expertise in managing thoracic, pulmonary, and esophageal conditions while providing high-quality care through multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Expertise in minimally invasive and robotic thoracic surgery, including lung cancer surgery, esophageal surgery, and mediastinal procedures.
- Board eligible or certified by ABS and ABTS.
- Eligibility for unrestricted NYS medical licensure.
NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The starting salary range for the role is 450k-650k. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.
