Physical Therapist Location: Greenbelt, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,234 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Home Health Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Must have an active license Certifications: BLS required, MD license required Must-Have: Homecare Homebase/OASIS experience required Description: This position involves providing physical therapy services in a home health setting. The ideal candidate must have experience with Homecare Homebase and OASIS documentation. Contractors may be requested to cover other zip codes based on staffing needs. All home care clinicians are required to use their personal vehicles. Candidates should ensure their vehicle is reliable and meets all licensure and insurance requirements. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between patient visits. Responsibilities include performing patient assessments and developing individualized care plans. Candidates must have strong skills in geriatrics, orthopedics, adaptive devices, pain assessment, and patient education. Experience with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and congestive heart failure is essential. This role may also include assisting patients with mobility and exercises. Additional responsibilities include maintaining skin integrity and effective body mechanics during therapy. Candidates are expected to educate patients and families regarding home exercise programs. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial to collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams.
