We seek a strong Critical Care Cardiologist (Board Certified /Board Eligible) with a commitment to excellent patient care and education to be part of our renowned team at NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island (based in Mineola, New York).
The skillset required includes the ability to manage mechanical circulatory support (IABP, Impella, ECMO), bedside procedures (pulmonary artery catheter, temporary transvenous pacemaker, thoracentesis, chest tube), echocardiography (TTE/TEE) and point-of-care ultrasound as well as airway management (intubation, invasive/noninvasive ventilation and bronchoscopy).
Lead inter-disciplinary care teams in our dedicated cardiac intensive care unit, including our Cardiogenic Shock and PERT team.
Academic appointment at the NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine commensurate with experience and academic credentials. Teaching responsibilities include medical students, residents and fellows.
NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.The starting salary range for the role is $350k - $400k. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.
