**Exciting Opportunity for an Acute Care Physical Therapist!****Job Description:**- **Position:** Acute Care Physical Therapy - **Shift:** Day 5x8 (Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM) - **Experience Required:** 1 year (first-timers accepted) - **Certifications Required:** BLS - **State License Required:** California PT - **Local Radius:** 50 miles (local rate available upon inquiry) - **Guaranteed Hours:** Facility may call off once per two-week pay period **Key Responsibilities:**- Deliver high-quality physical therapy services in an acute care setting - Develop and implement individualized care plans - Conduct evaluations, reassessments, and progress tracking - Educate patients and families on home exercise programs - Utilize various therapeutic techniques for optimal recovery - Manage assistive devices and ensure patient safety **Special Requirements:**- Experience with: - Acute Care - Geriatrics - ICU - Orthopedics - Discharge planning - Pain assessment and management - Vital sign monitoring - Familiarity with AROM/AAROM/PROM and strength testing - Knowledge of specific conditions: - Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) - Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) - Myocardial Infarction (MI) - Post-Stroke Rehabilitation **Hospital Highlights:**- **Type of Facility:** Acute Care Hospital - **Total Staffed Beds:** 212 - **Charting System:** Epic - **Parking:** Free parking available! - **Dress Code:** - RNs: Navy blue scrubs - L&D/OR: Provided scrubs **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
