Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours, Monday - Friday, Variable 7am - 6pm Experience: Minimum 2 years current PT experience License: New Hampshire Physical Therapy license or compact Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS Must-Have: - Doctorate in Physical Therapy - Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy - Experience with evaluations and treatments in outpatient settings - Ability to treat various diagnoses including postoperative care, joint replacement, back pain, and balance issues - Flexibility to work inpatient PT as needed - Ability to work independently with own transportation Description: The facility uses an integrated approach for physical therapy. Patients receive direct involvement from therapists who utilize advanced hands-on techniques. Patient education and individualized rehabilitative programs are emphasized. Therapists are skilled in a variety of traditional and non-traditional treatment methods. Common patient conditions include orthopaedic and sports injuries. Additional areas of focus include gait training, balance training, fractures, sprains, and dislocations. Therapists also address musculoskeletal dysfunctions, neck and back pain, and neurological disorders. Balance and fall prevention, as well as pulmonary rehabilitation, are part of the therapy offered. Typical patient ratio is 8 per day from Monday to Thursday, and 6 on Fridays. Requested time off during the assignment must be submitted before the profile upload. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted. Travelers must possess a working vehicle due to lack of public transport. All scheduling requests need to be made during submission. Late requests after an offer may result in rescinded offers.
