You will work 5 days a week, with weekend rotation required. The patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census is around 30 patients with approximately 30 visits per day. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including social services and rapid response teams. Patient diagnoses range widely from orthopedic to neurological and pulmonary issues. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred, particularly with total joint patients. Key skills include patient assessment, assistive device training, and rehabilitation techniques. You will develop individualized plans of care and conduct assessments to monitor patient progress. Maintain safety and injury prevention protocols in all therapy activities. The position may involve working with specialized equipment, such as adaptive devices. Complete necessary lab items within 72 hours of accepting the offer. Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. You will be subject to a mandatory drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana. A positive result will result in immediate cancellation, with no exceptions. Candidates should avoid any substances that may lead to a positive drug screen. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent time management and patient communication skills.
